thanks kristen, a lot of ideas percolating ~ therese and variations of what i’m already doing…all i know is it’s not my place to make politics my locus, which doesn’t mean they won’t slip in from time to time, but i felt i had to say something before i could really begin again.

thank you Martha, in this world of “alternative facts” I’ve been more compelled than ever to be honest with myself and to share such vulnerabilities with others ~ because we should not be living through these times alone.

isn’t that the truth ~ the thought of being out to sea buoys my heart.

It has been such a weird, scattered time. I feel ungrounded and often flummoxed by a world that somehow, quickly, has become one I don't understand and am not trained for. I'm hopeful this is a temporary state of affairs and I will find ground in the second half of the year, but we'll see.

Sending love. XO

so true Asha ~ the one thing I definitely know is I don’t want to only write about these current times; it was never the sole/soul intention of my newsletter. Besides, there are others (including yourself) who do so with integrity.

For now, I write my five postcards in protest every day which may or not make a difference, but I do so any way.

I’m sure the world will continue to slip into my writing, but I’m excited to explore some new possibilities, too.

xoxo
